Sherise Prince, PsyD
Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Yoga Therapist
I provide integrative mind and body services that incorporate elements of traditional psychotherapy, mindfulness meditation and yoga therapy. Integrative mind-body therapy allows for greater awareness, healing and balance of the whole self: mental, emotional and physical.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, comprehensive and tailored to meet the needs of the individual. I support the development of clients in the form of symptom management, emotional release and regulation, and self-awareness and personal growth. Clients learn tools to better understand the mind-body connection and are supported in their ability to integrate learned practices into everyday living. Deeper awareness and understanding of the whole self, support healing, growth, and management of psychological and physiological symptoms.
I offer traditional psychotherapy as well as mind & body support for individuals in the Los Angeles and South Bay regions. I received specialized training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I also provide yoga therapy for the management of psychological conditions. My treatment expertise includes the following: anxiety disorders, trauma healing and recovery, womens’ issues, relationship/family/work conflicts, stress management and coping with medical conditions.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): A form of talk therapy that trains clients to recognize
