Natalie Feinblatt, PsyD

Licensed Clinical Psychologist

We can work together to co-create a balanced, healthy, and fulfilling life that part of you knows you deserve. You can be your own spark, and I will help you fan the flames.

What I find most fulfilling is helping sensitive, creative, and insightful people go from surviving to living and thriving. I want to help you rise above your current circumstances and soar into a life you may not yet think is possible. Working with me, you will be accepted and listened to carefully and perceptively. You will feel centered and much more grounded. I adapt my style to fit your needs and strive to treat you with a balance of gentleness and active encouragement. I want to help you transform your pain into progress, regular sessions with me will alchemize your struggle into growth and health.

I specialize in working with addiction, trauma, co-occurring disorders, psychosis, and former cult members. I use a mixture of modalities that I customize for each client. I provide my clients with acceptance, authenticity, and empathic understanding (in therapist jargon, Person-Centered Therapy). I focus on the development of personal coping strategies that target solving current problems and changing unhelpful patterns in thoughts, behaviors, and emotional regulation (aka Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, or CBT). For clients who want to work on trauma, I use techniques that stimulate both sides of the brain to optimally reprocess traumatic memories (otherwise known as EMDR). With members of the LGBTQIA+ community, I help them work toward authenticity and self-acceptance (more jargon, Affirmative Therapy). I am also a trained and certified Spiritual Coach and Spiritual Counselor for clients who want to work on that area of their life.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): A form of talk therapy that trains clients to recognize
patterns of unproductive thinking and learn healthier responses to challenging situations.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR): Is a therapeutic technique
specific to the treatment of trauma and PTSD in which clients recall their traumatic experiences while their therapist directs their sensory attention elsewhere.

Brain-spotting: Is a deep-brain sensory therapy designed to help clients process trauma and alleviate both emotional and physical pain.
