My work is driven by my sincere intention to help people expand their ability to live an authentic life with a sense of purpose that is in line with their values. By helping clients restore mental and emotional well being, they are more free to live and create their life more meaningfully.
As an anxiety specialist, my practice draws children and adults who struggle managing emotions such as anxiety and depression. As a highly intuitive yet evidence based practitioner, I am very effective in helping clients examine their relationship with the self and their symptoms, increasing their awareness of self limiting thoughts, beliefs and behaviors and inspiring the changes necessary to create mental and emotional balance and well being. Uncomfortable emotions are part of the human experience; I help clients change their relationship to their mind and difficult emotions and, ultimately, increase their sense of self acceptance and compassion. My work is often driven by clients’ unique experience, values and sense of purpose. I help them find the tools to expand their sense of self, reduce their symptoms and live a healthier and more joyful life.
I like to draw on different therapeutic modalities to provide a more holistic approach to treatment. My top favorite modalities include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, which highlights acceptance as the foundation for change and is very values-focused. I enjoy this modality because I find it to be a fusion of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (another favorite) and eastern philosophy to mental health such as mindfulness practices. As an OCD expert, I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) in helping clients bravely face their fears in the service of a life more aligned with their values.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): A form of talk therapy that trains clients to recognize patterns of unproductive thinking and learn healthier responses to challenging situations.
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR): a meditation-based therapeutic program designed to treat anxiety, depression, stress and pain by training one’s mind to build awareness of one’s body, thoughts, behaviors by focusing intensely on the present.
Internal Family System Model: IFS promotes healthy internal connections with the divergent systems within the self and seeks to reset the relationships between client’s subpersonalities that are causing emotional tension.
Exposure Response Prevention (ERP): is a form of CBT therapy specifically for the treatment of Anxiety Disorders and OCD. ERP works by training clients through distress tolerance by gradual and methodical exposure to stressors without activating the need for compulsions.
Somatic Experiencing: By emphasizing a client’s body and sensory experiences, clinicians guide clients to release and process trauma stored within the body and overcome symptoms from PTSD.

My own life journey definitely informs the work I do. My own healing quest and how I meet my own challenges serve to expand my understanding of the human condition and the pathways towards mental and emotional health. Life is as hard at times as it is beautiful. I am right there in it with my clients; I practice what I preach. My humanness, authenticity and integrity helps my clients feel safe and inspires their own journey towards healing.
