Krystyl Wright, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Therapy is never about providing answers for clients, but helping clients get the answers they need by holding space for self-exploration and understanding by using a combined approach of DBT/CBT.
I utilize a strength based and cognitive behavioral approach that emphasizes mindfulness and recognizes the effects of trauma on behavior and development. I prioritize client’s needs and encourage collaboration when establishing, implementing, and meeting the client’s treatment goals. My background of clinical experience includes therapy to clients ages 12 & up with life experiences such as: life stressors, emotion dysregulation , trauma and life transitions (i.e. academic, career changes). I also provides clinical consultation services to Mental health /SUD treatment centers and other related agencies.
Although psychodynamic is the basis of my professional and educational knowledge, I use
cognitive-related modalities to support clients in attaining the lives they want. My practice services clients with diverse backgrounds and I have found that quality care and evidence-based treatments produce the best outcomes. My practice is located in Beverly Hills/West Los Angeles and is built on the foundational practice of CBT and DBT, whereby skills and behavioral change can transform lives for the better.
